What we can do together

Therapy for individuals experiencing anxiety or OCD

OBsessive-Compulsive disorder

I work with people experiencing intrusive or taboo thoughts; compulsions or rituals; or “pure O” or mental obsessions. We identify the habits and patterns keeping you stuck, then use proven techniques like exposure and response prevention to break them.

Perinatal anxiety and OCD

Pregnancy and postpartum are times of major hormonal, biological, and life changes that can trigger or worsen anxiety or OCD. I work with new and expectant parents through this uniquely challenging time of life.

General anxiety and phobias

I specialize in working with people experiencing health anxiety (e.g., worries about having a serious but undiagnosed condition), social anxiety, panic, generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), or phobias (like fear of flying, spiders, giving blood, etc.).

 Consultation and supervision for peers

Mentoring clinicians is one of the most rewarding and exciting parts of my practice. I foster a collaborative, supportive environment for those seeking to deepen their CBT expertise, especially in application to OCD or anxiety.

Together we work to:

  • Improve skill in conceptualizing presenting concerns from a CBT perspective and in developing specific, targeted intervention

  • Increase competency in CBT strategies, techniques, and process

  • Effectively design behavioral experiments to challenge maladaptive beliefs

  • Maximize treatment effectiveness within a short-term framework

Speaking engagements and workshops for organizations, treatment providers, and groups

Explaining the latest research and breaking down the science of anxiety and OCD are central to role as an educator. In addition to my teaching roles at NYU and Fordham, I design and provide workshops and educational, engaging talks for treatment providers, organizations, and caring, curious groups of people.
